Announcement: SLA Outstanding Technology Award – Apply Today!

Nominations are now open for two awards from SLA’s IT Division: 

Joe Ann Clifton Student Award

This award is intended to promote participation in the SLA Annual Conference by an exceptional library science student.  The award recipient will receive a 1-year student membership in SLA and expenses to attend the annual conference in Vancouver! 

Outstanding Chapter Technology Programming Award

SLA’s IT Division is again looking for the most inspired, cutting edge, and innovative chapter technology programming of the 2013-2014 programming year!  The Outstanding Chapter Technology Programming Award will be announced at the 2014 Annual Conference in Vancouver. The award will consist of an electronic certificate for display on your web page as well as $500 in seed money to develop further technology programming.

The deadline for submission is Friday, February 28, 2014.
