The William B. Neff Conference Attendance Award of the Museums, Arts & Humanities Division of SLA may be awarded to a student member of the Museums, Arts & Humanities Division of the Special Libraries Association.
Awarded to a student enrolled in an ALA accredited master’s degree program, this $1,000 stipend is meant to promote both current and future involvement in and commitment to the library and information science profession prior to, during and after the master’s program.
- An essay of 500-1000 words on any aspect of librarianship in museum/arts/humanities settings. The essay may be adapted from an existing paper.
- The winner is required to attend the SLA Annual Conference and expected to attend MAHD programs.
